New Italian portal offers worst country toilets

It can spoil the overall impression of the restaurant with its appearance alone. Yes, we are talking about toilets in public institutions, which from now on fall into a certain list on the new Italian portal, where the country's worst restrooms are put on public display.

On average, we spend from one year to four years in the toilet for life, so the cleanliness of this room really matters. This is the conclusion reached by two young Italians who created a site that is somewhat reminiscent of the popular Trip Advisor portal. However, objects located on the new resource indicate the very essence of public places, such as bars, cafes, restaurants and so on.

The brainchild of Italian guys, by the way, it is located at www.wc-advisor.com, allows all users not only to find the nearest toilet, but also to evaluate its cleanliness, and also gives a couple of practical tips on how to become a good visitor to the restroom.

The authors of the unusual project are 33-year-old graduate of the Faculty of Economics Cesare Romanin (Cesare Romanin) and web programmer Marco Tonello (Marco Tonello), both residents of Padova (Padova). Now the creative team is looking for help from everyone who is willing to share their impressions after visiting the restrooms, and also to evaluate their degree of cleanliness.

The main goal of Romanin and Tonello at the moment is to create "the world's largest database of toilets."

“Our task is to place all available toilets on the map, which will help travelers use one of them if necessary,” the creators of the site explained. - “Users will also have the opportunity to publish their reviews so that future visitors to bathrooms can assess their condition, find out about the availability of hand dryers, toilet paper, and also find out whether people with disabilities can use them.”

Despite the fact that such a project may seem an unusual novelty to Italians, WC Advisor is not the first site that offers toilet reviews. The Toilet Finder portal (www.toiletfinder.org) also provides its visitors with a range of services, including the rating of latrines, as well as their search in New York. At the end of last year, the creator of the site promised to pay $ 100 to everyone who leaves the most interesting and original reviews about city toilets.

Moreover, Apple product owners can download a special offer called iToilet. It is easy to guess that its users can be searched, “like” and criticize the most outstanding rooms in one sense or another.

In a few lists “The most amazing toilets in the world” you can often notice the restroom, which in the literal sense is an adornment of the capital of world fashion - Milan. The bathroom located in the Dolce & Gabbana Gold restaurant can rightfully be called the most fashionable on the entire planet: after all, world-famous designers worked on its interior.

The ceiling-to-floor toilet walls of the luxurious restaurant are decorated with gilded bamboo, the mirrors are edged with gold frames, and each booth has a plasma TV, which constantly broadcasts the film “Golfinger”.
